We’re seeking two contract Desktop Engineers on behalf of some of NZ’s best known brands for an exciting project running from February to October 2025. You’ll play a pivotal role in upgrading POS systems, refreshing hardware, and migrating operating systems. This role involves on-site work and travel across the Lower North Island, offering a unique chance to contribute to a vital initiative while working in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Upgrade POS systems at multiple sites.
Perform Windows 10 to 11 migrations and hardware refreshes.
Troubleshoot and resolve desktop infrastructure issues.
Provide remote and on-site support to ensure smooth transitions.
Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience in desktop engineering roles.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10 & 11).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Full NZ driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
Collaborative attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding support.
