We are seeking an experienced and skilled Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Service Technician to join our clients team in Whangarei, New Zealand. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems for commercial and industrial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with systems
- Perform routine maintenance on systems
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as an Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Service Technician
- NZQA Trade Certificate Level 4 or equivalent
- EST Full practising license
- A valid driver's license
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration technology
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must have a valid work permit for New Zealand
