Site Manager - Large Scale Civil/Commercial Development
Location: Tauranga / Mount Maunganui Region Hourly Rate: $40 - $55 per hour (Dependent on Experience)
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a large-scale commercial development project in the heart of the Tauranga / Mount Maunganui region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in formwork to join a dynamic and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring the smooth progression of work.
Oversee all aspects of formwork installation and removal, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.
Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure materials and labour are available when required.
Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly adhered to.
Manage the site workforce, providing leadership and ensuring high levels of performance.
Monitor project progress and report on timelines, budget, and quality to senior management.
Identify and resolve any site issues or risks, taking proactive measures to mitigate delays.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs and incident reports.
Liaise with the project manager, clients, and consultants as necessary.
Key Requirements:
Extensive experience in formwork for large-scale civil or commercial projects.
Proven track record in managing the successful delivery of large construction projects.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
Ability to provide examples and detailed information of previous projects and work history.
Solid understanding of construction site operations, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and an MOJ Convictions check.
