About the Company:

Our client, a leading provider of software and services to global software vendors, is expanding its presence in Canterbury after establishing successful operations across major European sites. They specialize in licensing workflows for desktop, web, mobile, and embedded software applications, APIs, and virtual machines.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to ensure exceptional system reliability and support for our software vendor clients. This role involves incident management, reliability engineering, automation, and maintenance of cloud deployments across various environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage incidents, including on-call duties as required.
  • Enhance playbooks and support procedures for continuous improvement.
  • Respond promptly to support requests.
  • Participate in incident reviews and contribute to resolutions.
  • Maintain cloud deployments in development, test, pre-production, and production environments.
  • Customize products to meet software vendors’ requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews.


Benefits:

  • Competitive salary package: $90,000 – $110,000 (negotiable based on experience).

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in software development using Java, .NET, C++, or Python.
  • Proficiency in deploying software to public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
  • Familiarity with RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL) and SQL.
  • Understanding of application, access, and network infrastructure logs for issue diagnosis.
