Support Worker – Medically Fragile Children

Job Description

Our client is a young adult who needs a fun-loving support worker to assist her in living her best life. She needs an energetic, competent and organised person with attention to detail to help her achieve her goals; keeping her healthy, learning, communicating with others and provide therapy-based activities, play based learning and community outings. Due to the nature and complexity of cares required, female applicants would be preferred.

Suitable applicants will be able to relate well to children, have a gentle and loving personality.

Requirements of cares but are not limited to:

  • Experience in Clinical Practice Improvement (CPI)
  • Experience with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • Experience with handling challenging behaviour
  • Must be Level 4 qualified and experienced support worker
  • Confident to handle cares independently
  • Must have a clean and valid NZ driving licence
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ
  • Subject to clean police clearance check
  • Able to commit to the shifts
  • Training will be provided
  • All vaccinations for COVID-19


Shifts:

Multiple Shifts Available as below:

  • Tuesday Shift: 3.00 AM – 9.00 AM & Evening 4.00 PM – 10.00 PM
  • Wednesday Shift: 3.00 AM – 9.00 AM & Evening 4.00 PM – 10.00 PM
  • Thursday Shift: 3.00 AM – 9.00 AM & Evening 4.00 PM – 10.00 PM
  • Friday Shift: 3.00 AM – 9.00 AM & Evening 4.00 PM – 10.00 PM
  • Saturday Shift: 3.00 AM – 9.00 AM & Evening 4.00 PM – 10.00 PM
  • Sunday Shift: 3.00 AM – 9.00 AM & Evening 4.00 PM – 10.00 PM
