At Compass Group we have partnered with Air New Zealand as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience, we have an exciting opportunity for multipole Casual Catering Assistants to join our team within our Tauranga Airport Operations on a as and when required basis.

This role within the lounge will be responsible for ensuring our highly engaging service culture is translated into outstanding "surprise and delight" moments for our valued customers.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Provide proactive and friendly food and beverage service to customers.
• Set up, clean, and maintain lounge areas, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Prepare and serve beverages, including espresso coffee, responsibly.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, adhering to food safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a high level of service.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• Be hard working, reliable and flexible in your ability to work
• Having a friendly, outgoing personality
• Have excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude.
• Have experience working in a similar position within a 5-star environment
• Hold food safety Unit Standards 167 and 168
• Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate a passion for people, customer service and quality
