As a chef you will be responsible for:
- Have excellent attitude and willing to learn
- Assist in any way as assigned by executive & head chef
- Maintain standards of food preparation by following company recipe manual
- Maintaining standards of food and kitchen hygiene
- Ensure stock is kept under optimum conditions and rotated accordingly
- Ensure that all dishes pass correctly garnished, correctly portioned and presented
Suitable applicants will have the following skills
- A friendly, positive and warm personality
- At least 4-5 years cooking experience
- Willing to follow directions exactly
- Observe a habit of personal cleanliness
- Willing to work irregular hours according to the needs of the food service operation
- Able to work in a team
- Efficient worker who uses initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff
