We are looking for a registered kaiako to join our team! In our supportive and welcoming centre, you will help nurture curiosity, build strong relationships, and create a space where tamariki feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.
About us
Our tamariki and whānau feel a sense of belonging at Busy Bees Pioneer Highway, and we welcome new families in to feel right at home too in our convenient Palmerston North location. We offer nutritious, homecooked meals, and a huge backyard play area for our tamariki. Our teachers live locally, which supports our strong sense of community and welcoming environment. We aim to promote the development and learning of each child, through positive partnership with parents and open communication at all times for family, tangata whenua, whānau, and community.
What we’re looking for:
- An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
- Genuine care and love for the well-being and development of tamariki
- A personality that fosters and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whānau
- Abundant reserves of enthusiasm and energy
- Competency in planning, curriculum, and regular and emergent reviews
- The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whānau
- A creative mind capable of inspiring and igniting curiosity!
