About Hamlin road Organic Farm
Established by Pathways in 2002, Hamlin Road Farm is a certified organic farm that provides unique transitional employment and education opportunities for people experiencing mental illness, adding another dimension to their recovery journey.

With a strong focus on sustainability, Hamlin Road Farm grows an array of organic produce and seedlings set on a 12-acre organic farm with large outdoor gardens and 8 plastic houses, citrus orchards and propagation houses.

The farm allows people to create an identity as a worker, while acquiring essential skills, qualifications and the confidence to pursue job opportunities anywhere.

The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
As a Farm Coordinator, your role will be to assist in the efficient and effective running of the office and ensure flexible and responsive support on the farm, the farm workers and trainees. This includes animal husbandry skills, general farm maintenance, paddock management, social media management and on call support when required amongst other duties.

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week. You will be working Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm. You must also be able to cover weekends at the farmers’ markets and on call components as required.

You | Mōu
We are interested to hear from people who have a caring nature and have impeccable attention to detail. You must be able to work weekends to run a market stall and be able to assist with our online website selling produce and seedlings.

You will also have;

  • A current full drivers licence
  • Knowledge in horticulture
  • Great computer skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Knowledge in the Health and Wellbeing sector
