In this hands-on role, you’ll be:
Operating heavy machinery (5T–20T) with precision
Moving, digging, shaping, and compacting materials using the right tools and attachments
Doing pre-start checks and basic maintenance to keep gear in top shape
Working closely with your crew to keep things safe, efficient and on point — especially around structures, services, or other machines
We’re looking for reliable, hands-on team members who aren’t afraid to get stuck in. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience operating diggers or rollers
Full Class 1 Driver’s Licence (Class 2 or higher and WTR endorsements are a plus)
Expertise in drainage, final trim, and finishing works
A solid understanding of quality control and assurance
Experience with GPS tech (if not, we can train you)
BONUS: Proven leadership experience with the ability to read and interpret site plans
A proactive, solution-driven approach to supporting the team
A strong focus on maintaining safety and high standards in everything you do
Good physical fitness — this role involves a fair bit of hard work
WHAT’S ON OFFER:
Guaranteed 30+ hours a week, with most of our crew working up to 50 hours
Monday to Friday. Want to pick up more? Saturday shifts are there if you're up for it but totally optional.
