Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safety of Wellington's road users, pedestrians and cyclists.
  • Directing traffic using temporary traffic management equipment + hand signals.
  • Communicating hazards effectively.
  • Reporting incidents, near misses and adhering to all health and safety protocol.


About You:

  • Enjoy working outdoors.
  • Physically fit and injury free.
  • Can work well in a team/crew environment.
  • Gets on well with all types of people.
  • Always has a smile and positive outlook on life.
  • Has a valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle to get to and from work.
  • You are wanting a traffic management career and willing to make your way up through the ranks with the support of AWF.
