About the Role: As an caregiver at BestStart Stokes Valley, you will have the incredible opportunity to positively impact the lives of our tamariki by providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality care and education to our tamariki
- Using your initiative to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences
- Supporting a diverse range of tamariki in our preschool classroom
- Actively participating in centre activities and supporting daily operations
- Collaborating with our experienced Head Teacher and passionate team
This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
Role Requirements: We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a natural affinity with children—especially preschool-aged tamariki. While an ECE qualification is not required, experience working with children under five is a must. You’ll also bring a high level of initiative and the ability to take direction from others.
