We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our wider Finance team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Finance Manager - eComX & Cartology. The SBA for Cartology plays a key role in partnering with the Cartology Sales team and the commercial buying team, supporting the business in delivering on our revenue and EBIT targets.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Finance Manager to deliver the company’s financial strategy, deliver key projects and process enhancements in support of that strategy, own the annual budgeting process & monthly reporting cycles and deliver comprehensive suites of analysis and insights to support high performance across the business.
About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing reporting packs and commentary for key stakeholder groups
- Proactively liaise with relevant teams on monthly and weekly forecast submissions
- Financial Management of strategic objectives (OPEX and CAPEX) for Cartology, including impact on planning, forecasting, budgeting, measuring benefits, and driving delivery of outcomes.
- Forecasting, budgeting and reporting for Cartology P&L and Category Manager Cartology revenue targets, evaluating the impact of internal and external events and trends on operating activities and business performance
- Understand Online systems and processes to drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness for productivity and financial integrity, especially as processes and systems evolve
- Proactively providing valuable insights through understanding stakeholder, business and customer wants/needs, working with other internal teams including WOW counterparts
- Pro-actively rationalise reporting and ad hoc requests, through a culture of continuous improvement
About You | Mōu
To succeed in this role, you will have relevant professional qualifications such as CA/CPA with 3 years+ post qualified experience, coupled with experience within retail/FMCG/eCom sectors which is highly desirable. You will have strong communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills, along with strong systems experience (SAP and Business Objects) and advanced excel/modelling skills.
