Position: Weighbridge Operator / Data entry
Job Description: We are currently looking for a weighbridge operator/data entry clerk.

Key Responsibilities:

• The primary role of a weighbridge operator is to accurately weigh and record the weight of incoming and outgoing goods, vehicles, or materials. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Weighing Operations: Operate the weighbridge system to accurately measure and record the weight of incoming and outgoing goods, vehicles, or materials. Ensure that the weighing process is conducted promptly and efficiently while adhering to established procedures and safety protocols.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of weights, dates, times, and relevant information using manual or computerized systems. Prepare reports and documentation related to weighing operations as required by management, regulatory bodies, or customers.

Communication: Interact with drivers, suppliers, customers, and other personnel in a professional and courteous manner. Provide clear instructions to drivers regarding proper positioning and movement on the weighbridge to ensure accurate measurements and safety.

Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all applicable legal requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to weighing operations, record-keeping, and safety. Ensure that all weighing activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting drivers or customers with weighing-related matters. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while dealing with a diverse range of individuals.


Requirements:

• Have previous experience in weighbridge operating role.
• Experience with administration and data entry.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• Customer Service experience.
• Computer literate and savvy.
• Clear criminal record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
