The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Theatre Leader to join our team in the newly created role of Associate Theatre Manager.

Reporting to the Theatre Services Manager, the Associate Theatre Manager is responsible for:

  • Providing clinical expertise, direction and leadership to the nursing and clinical support workforce within Theatres. This role will manage the day- to- day requirements of service delivery of the Operating Theatres.
  • Assume accountability for Clinical & Operational leadership, resource management and efficiency of services and is required to work with other leadership teams to support and deliver efficient & effective use of people & financial resources, resulting in positive clinical outcomes, exceptional customer services and growth of services within their delegation.


This role actively supports the Theatre Services Manager to the achieve strategic goals Of Braemar Hospital and is a critical element of the Theatre leadership team, contributing to the success and efficiency of the Theatre Services.

In addition, once you hit five years' service at Braemar, we increase your annual holidays accrual to five weeks' per year, so you can take a bit more time each year, just for you. We also set our minimum sick leave entitlement at 15 days' per year which is available to you from the day you start. That way, you have plenty of sick leave to cover illness and injury, and you don't have to take time unpaid, or use your annual holidays to cover when you are unwell.
