Job Description
Lumino Ilam Orthodontics are currently on the lookout for an experienced Dental Assistant to join the team!

As one of our Dental Assistants, you will work alongside our team of professional clinician's to support a gold-standard of care to our patients. You will be tasked with supporting with general dentistry. You will also take control of tasks such as sterilization and infection control, ensuring all instruments and equipment are processed and sterilized following best practice guidelines.

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer service.

The hours for the role are below:

  • Monday: 8.00am - 5.00pm
  • Tuesday: 8.00am - 5.00pm
  • Wednesday: 8.00am - 5.00pm
  • Thursday: 8.00am - 5.00pm


The following are things that will be done on the job:

  • Assist clinicians during dental procedures, such as taking X-rays, sterilizing instruments, and preparing materials.
  • Greet patients, review their medical history and answer any questions they may have
  • Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for use
  • Taking notes in a timely manner


This role may also have the opportunity to train as an Orthodontic Auxiliary for the right candidate

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in computer software applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be a strong team player with an excellent work ethic
