Ko tō tūranga – your role


As part of One NZ, Farmside is recruiting a Sales Representative. This role is responsible for initiating and receiving calls to and from potential customers, selling Farmside products and services while focusing on providing an outstanding customer service experience.



This role is for a Fixed Term contract only until the 19th of December 2025. Please also note that our Talent team are exercising our freedom to spend quality time with our whanau during the holiday season. Therefore, we will be in contact with you upon our return from the week of the 6th of January 2025.



Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge and sales process skills in order to achieve required sales results and consistently meet targeted call volumes per day
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email, telephone and digital channels, within agreed timeframes.
  • Report on market activities and provide relevant feedback to management.
  • Maintain a high degree of data entry accuracy, respect database integrity and privacy, and complete administration functions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a high level of call quality ensuring you are consistently striving to delivery a top customer experience on every call.
  • Provide account management support to customers with multiple services where required and be their direct point.
  • Deal with all upsell, cross-sell, relocation and change of service queries that come into the call centre.
  • Handle the disconnection interactions that come into the business and ensure that we have done everything we can to retail the customer.



Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring

  • Experience in front-line face to face or phone-based customer service, or sales roles.
  • Great verbal and email communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Experience in working in a target-based environment, with weekly and monthly sales targets and KPI’s.
  • Understanding of the telecommunications products and services, although not a requirement.
