About the Role
Delighting our residents has always been Ryman's point of difference and our Resident Experience team is responsible for making this happen!

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Resident Experience Coordinator. This brand new role is responsible for delivering an enhanced resident experience for independent residents through technology and a resident centered activities and lifestyle programme.

We have a fixed term full time position available working Tuesday to Saturday 1300 - 1930. This position will commence from 31 Jan 2025 - 06 August 2025.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the village Resident Experience Team to develop, coordinate, and deliver a bespoke, fun, and engaging activities and lifestyle programme tailored to your residents' specific interests.
  • Drive engagement in the use of the resident app and virtual events, and other available technologies by supporting residents with one-on-one support and technology workshops.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the activities calendar and village updates are kept up to date keeping your residents engaged with the app.
  • Facilitate focus groups to understand your residents' ideas and interests for the ongoing development of the village activities and lifestyle programme.
  • Be the village champion leading village participation in intervillage wellness and engagement projects.
  • Organise group excursions for the enhanced activities programme, giving residents opportunities to try new and exciting things!
  • Build positive relationships with residents, external providers, and community groups to ensure the successful running of the programme.


About You
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

  • Strong empathy and patience with elderly residents
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to think outside the square and manage the organisation of events
  • Technology savvy and ability to quickly pick up new systems
  • Willing to gain a LCQ Certificate (Licence Controller Qualification) and a General Managers Certificate
  • A reliable, friendly, and professional manner
