Ko tō tūranga – your role
At One New Zealand, we are “people serving people.” As the Senior Social Media Lead, you will own the strategy and execution of our paid social channels (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube Reels).


You’ll manage the annual social media budget, optimize performance across platforms, and ensure our social media practices are up-to-date with the latest trends. You will also mentor the Social Media Coordinator, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with our standards.


This is a 12 month Maternity Cover contract.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

  • Develop and implement the paid social media strategy across the organization.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for social media platforms.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with social media partners (TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Manage a multi-million dollar social media budget, ensuring efficient spend tracking and alignment with overall financial goals.
  • Drive social media effectiveness and efficiency (measured by MMM tool).
  • Improve brand consideration, NPS, and brand perception scores.
  • Ensure social campaign performance meets brand and commercial targets.
  • Conduct third-party account audits.
  • Gather and incorporate agency feedback to improve performance.
