Mō te tūranga | About the Role
Reporting directly to the Procurement Operations Manager, in your new role as Senior Contracts Database Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure the correct registration of supplier contracts in our central repository, providing quality assurance that all due diligence activities are completed and necessary artefacts attached.

You will assist the Procurement Operations Manager with the day-to-day operations of the team including:

  • Maintain oversight of the timely and accurate execution and registration of supplier contracts in the contracts database.
  • Act as the first point for of contact for contracts database queries in the absence of the Procurement Operations Manager.
  • Provide guidance and support for team members, assisting with issue resolution and escalation where appropriate.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of processes, policies, tools and templates.
  • Assist with training and mentoring new team members and providing support for ongoing development of the team.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to clarify contract execution and registration and maintenance requirements and ensure smooth communication throughout the process.


Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

  • 3+ years’ experience in contracting, contract administration and/or support (Commercial &/or Legal)
  • Experience in contract drafting and management
  • Demonstrable knowledge of procurement processes and legal contract standards
  • Experience in contract lifecycle management and contract lifecycle management systems
  • Experience in relationship management including the ability to influence senior management
  • Tertiary qualified in a legal discipline or business/commercial field is preferred as is experience within the financial services industry or similar regulated environment
