About the Role:

As an Assistant Fleet Supervisor, you will work closely with the Auckland Fleet Supervisor, gaining valuable hands-on experience in all aspects of managing the Auckland depot. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth, offering the chance to take on key responsibilities, including:

  • Delivery Scheduling: Oversee and coordinate delivery schedules to ensure operational efficiency and timely execution.
  • Staff Management: Support in managing the team, fostering a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Vehicle Servicing & Compliance: Assist in managing fleet maintenance, ensuring all vehicles comply with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Customer Service: Act as a liaison between fleet drivers and customers, addressing concerns and ensuring high levels of service quality.
  • Computer Literacy: Utilize essential computer programs for scheduling, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Roster/Fleet Planning: Aid in planning driver rosters and coordinating delivery schedules to ensure smooth operations.
  • Non-office Role: This is a hands-on, floor-based role, requiring you to be actively involved in managing the fleet rather than a traditional office setting.
