The Role and the Candidate

The Operations Manager is a pivotal management role, responsible for managing the operational and compliance framework that supports Professionals Real Estate offices across New Zealand. This role ensures that our network of business owners is equipped with the systems, processes, and tools to deliver world-class real estate and property management services. Key duties include:

  • Overseeing operational systems and processes across the network to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Developing and overseeing a training and development programme, including delivery of workshops, webinars, and ongoing professional development for agents, property managers, and office teams.
  • Developing benchmarking tools and performance reports to provide insight and analysis to business owners on office performance and areas for improvement.
  • Working closely with technology providers to optimise use of Real Estate CRM platforms (VaultRE and Property Suite) and ensure smooth integration with other operational systems.
  • Supporting the CEO with operational reporting, project management and network initiatives.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years in an operational management role, ideally within real estate, property management, franchising, or a similar multi-site business environment.
  • Prior experience working in or with real estate businesses - understanding agency operations, property management processes, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in internal communications, stakeholder management, and network support.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse business owners.
  • Excellent project management and organisational abilities, able to juggle multiple initiatives and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Sound understanding of compliance frameworks in regulated industries, ideally in real estate.
  • Familiarity with real estate CRM systems, particularly VaultRE and Property Suite, is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
