The Golden Bay Cement team based in Portland, Whangarei have a rare opportunity for an experienced Reliability Engineer to join them in the winterless north of Whangarei.
The role is responsible for implementing and maintaining systems that support best practice maintenance and plan, and schedule work based on asset criticality to ensure high reliability and uptime

The Job:
Reporting to the maintenance manager, this position is critical in providing operational cement process and asset reliability technical support;
Implementing and best Practice Maintenance Systems and Processes
Development of monthly reporting templates in line with agreed KPIs
Optimise the asset management system to improve asset reliability
What you will bring:
Relevant engineering qualification for the position (mechanical ideal)
Basic financial acumen
2 to 5 years' experience in a heavy manufacturing site
Experience providing a wide range of engineering support to various stakeholders
Experience using engineering analysis, costing methods and problem-solving
Must have a sound understanding of local health, safety and environmental standards and legislation
Excellent communication skills are a must.
Self-motivator and able to work without supervision.
