About the Role
As a Caregiver at BestStart Pinnacles, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. Our focus is on fostering a love for learning, creativity, and exploration in our tamariki. You will be based in our Nursery, working alongside our under 2 year old tamariki.
You will work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday reporting to the Centre Manager and collaborating with a passionate team of educators. There is the potential for the hours to increase as our occupancy grows.
What You Will Do
- Provide high-quality care and education to our tamariki
- Foster a positive and engaging environment that encourages learning and development
- Support daily routines, activities, and centre-wide initiatives
- Work collaboratively with teachers across all classrooms and assist with staff breaks
- Contribute to the overall operations of the centre
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic individual who is committed to making a positive impact on young learners. While an ECE qualification is not required, experience working with children under five is essential. A natural affinity for infants and toddlers, a high level of initiative, and the ability to take direction are key to success in this role.
