Job Description

We are on the hunt for a multiskilled Heavy Machine Operator to join our team. If you are proficient in operating a variety of heavy machinery we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maintain a range of heavy machinery, including but not limited to diggers, excavators, rollers, and articulated dump trucks.
  • Assist with earthworks, site preparation, and various construction tasks.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any maintenance issues.
  • Work closely with site supervisors and other crew members to complete tasks on time and to a high standard.


About You:

  • A minimum Class 1 Full New Zealand Drivers License with WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) endorsements. Class 2 / 4 licenses are a bonus!
  • Proven experience operating heavy machinery on construction or civil works sites.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Excellent communication
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • All applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment D&A test
