Are you driven to create a great learning experience? Safety 'n Action Ltd is looking for a Product Development Expert for 6 - 12 months to join our team who develop online and face to face programmes.

Step into a dynamic, united team environment where collaboration is key and continuous improvement is the norm. As a pivotal member, you'll coordinate, review and develop training and assessment materials. This role reports to the Quality & Compliance Director and works closely with cross-functional teams, including Trainers, and Customer Experience with queries relating to training and assessment.

Safety 'n Action and Axiom Training together are undisputedly NZ's largest workplace safety training provider. With over 200 courses across 19 locations, we train over 80,000 Kiwis annually, setting the benchmark for excellence in safety, transport licensing, and rural training. Operating for over 28 years as a NZQA Category 1 training provider, we stand at the forefront of shaping the nation's future workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unpacking of NZQA unit standards to design courses and develop lesson plans
  • Design and develop learning solutions for online storyboards and face to face delivery
  • Map training programmes to ensure compliance with NZQA Unit Standards and other SSB's
  • Collaboration and effective communication with subject matter experts and trainers for updating or continuous improvement of training products.
  • Support moderation and quality control practices


What are we looking for?:

  • 3+ experience in learning and development with NZQA unit standards 11552
  • Background in education or PTE sector and unit standard based instructional design
  • Proficiency with MS office, Adobe suite, eLearning and video authoring tools
  • Modern learning and design principals and models that engage the learner
  • Strong time management and administration skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication
