New Zealand Couriers are looking for a positive, enthusiastic person with plenty of initiative to join our freight office team based at our South Auckland Branch in Wiri, Auckland.
This is an entry level office position for a customer service-based role within the freight industry. A willingness to learn will be ideal for this position.
Location: New Zealand Couriers, 12 Ha Crescent, Wiri, Auckland Hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm Mon-Fri (No weekend work, 40 Hrs/week). Pay rate: $25.50 per hour, paid weekly.
Duties/Responsibilities include
Dealing and handling problem freight, striving for a ‘first call resolution’
Responding to customer service alert queries
Responding directly to our senders and receivers via phone or email
Maintaining a relationship with drivers and staff in branch
Assisting at the front counter with face-to-face interactions with customers
Assisting in depot during peak periods if required
The ideal person will....
Be willing to learn, full training provided
Have a tech-savvy mind and is fast at using computers
Be comfortable working in both an office and depot environment
Not be afraid to converse with customers in person and on the phone
Have a fun or bubbly personality and enjoy working with a team
