New Zealand Couriers are looking for a positive, enthusiastic person with plenty of initiative to join our freight office team based at our South Auckland Branch in Wiri, Auckland.

This is an entry level office position for a customer service-based role within the freight industry. A willingness to learn will be ideal for this position.

Location: New Zealand Couriers, 12 Ha Crescent, Wiri, Auckland
Hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm Mon-Fri (No weekend work, 40 Hrs/week).
Pay rate: $25.50 per hour, paid weekly.

Duties/Responsibilities include

  • Dealing and handling problem freight, striving for a ‘first call resolution’
  • Responding to customer service alert queries
  • Responding directly to our senders and receivers via phone or email
  • Maintaining a relationship with drivers and staff in branch
  • Assisting at the front counter with face-to-face interactions with customers
  • Assisting in depot during peak periods if required

  • Be comfortable working in both an office and depot environment
  • Not be afraid to converse with customers in person and on the phone
  • Have a fun or bubbly personality and enjoy working with a team
