We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our Night Shift Cleaning Crew.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within our commercial factory setting. This role involves cleaning various factory equipment and machinery, ensuring a hygienic and organized workspace, and adhering to safety standards and procedures. Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM
Key Responsibilities:
Perform commercial cleaning duties in the factory environment, including but not limited to:
Moba machine
Easylift machine
Conveyors
Floors and drains
Red bins
Scraping eggs off the floor
Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure all areas and machinery are thoroughly cleaned.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility to ensure a safe working environment.
Follow company health and safety procedures, using the provided personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-capped boots.
Perform any other cleaning-related tasks as required to support the smooth running of the factory.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred, but not essential.
Must be physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
A car and full, valid driver's license is required, as the site is located 30 minutes north of Dunedin.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
