About the role:
As a Duty Manager, you’ll play a key role in the overall operations of the Front Desk. This is a key role assisting the team to ensure the smooth and efficient day to day operations of the Front Desk, assisting guests with enquiries, reservations, room service and housekeeping requests, and ensuing that our high guest service standards are met.
You can pride yourself on your excellent communication skills, your ability to stay calm under pressure, and your ability to solve problems effectively. Guest comfort and safety are our top priorities, and in this role you ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations as well as observing liquor and other laws and regulations.
What we're looking for:
Minimum 3 years in a hotel Front Office position or an NZ Registered Diploma.
Management or supervisory experience is an advantage.
LCQ, GM, and First Aid Certificates
Experience in the hospitality industry
Details:
Full-time position, 40 hours per week on a variable roster
Must be available for weekend and evening shifts
Competitive pay range of $29.67 - $31 per hour
