As a reputable, leading recruitment company, we are seeking an experienced LV Control Assembler to join our team for an immediate start on a temporary, 1-2-month assignment. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and testing of primary electrical distribution and control components for low-voltage (LV) switchboards and panels. These critical systems manage the flow of electricity in commercial and industrial, ensuring safe and efficient power distribution.

This is a Monday to Friday role, with working hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, offering stability and consistency within a dynamic and rewarding environment for the duration of the temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of Primary Switch Panels: You will be responsible for assembling components such as circuit breakers, fuses, switches, and relays to form fully functional panels.
  • Component Installation: Install and configure essential components such as main circuit breakers, bus bars, disconnect switches, and surge protection devices.
  • Panel Wiring: Correctly wire and insulate the components based on electrical schematics and blueprints to ensure safety and proper functioning.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure the system meets performance and safety standards, performing checks on electrical connections, circuit breakers, and other control components.
  • Troubleshooting & Fault Finding: Identify and resolve any issues with wiring or components during testing to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to electrical codes, maintain detailed records of the assembly process, and provide reports for certification and compliance purposes.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ample Experience: Extensive hands-on experience in assembling, wiring, and testing low-voltage switchboards and panels is essential.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, including switchboards, breakers, and control panels.
  • Schematic Reading: Ability to interpret and follow electrical wiring diagrams to assemble panels accurately.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in ensuring all connections and installations are secure, and safety standards are met.
  • Safety Compliance: In-depth knowledge of electrical safety protocols and standards, including proper handling of electrical components and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Proficiency in using testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, insulation testers) to verify electrical integrity and system performance.
