We are seeking a kaiawhina (teacher aide) to join our team, working across various age groups at our friendly semi-rural school.
This role is ideal for someone who values relationships, understands the importance of emotional regulation, and is committed to creating a safe, supportive space for everyone.

Have an inclusive, strengths-based approach to supporting diverse learners
Be trauma-aware and able to support students with emotional and social regulation
Have an understanding of neurodiversity
Be flexible and adaptable, working across different year levels, with an interest or experience in working with New Entrant āknoga.
Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team
Have strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
Previous experience as a Teacher Aide or in a similar role is an advantage, but we welcome applications from those with a passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
Start Date: Term 1 2025 - as soon as possible
