As a growing business, we value each team member's contribution immensely and are currently seeking another operator to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will play a vital part in offering essential support to our onsite team, ensuring the successful execution and completion of projects.

Position Overview:

The excavation operator position is diverse and holds a pivotal role within our organization. It encompasses a variety of responsibilities, spanning from manual labour to the operation of different machines and numerous attachments. To excel in this role, we are seeking an individual with superb excavation skills, attention to detail, optimistic attitude, effective communication, and a commitment to enhancing our overall project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Digger operating - includes large variety of attachments
• Operating other earthmoving machinery
• Construction of retaining walls
• Basic gear maintenance
• Health & safety procedures onsite
• Manual labour when required
• Liaison with clients

Qualifications:

• Experience in operating 1.5 - 20 tonne diggers
• WTR (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers) endorsement minimum
• Class 5 licence and truck driving experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree or relevant coursework is a plus.
• Good work ethic, PR skills and communication
• Previous experience in excavation and construction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Flexibility with number of work hours and available to work weekends when required
