RealNZ is looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Maintenance Technician to lead the maintenance of our on-road assets. In this role, you'll ensure our fleet runs smoothly by overseeing planned and defect maintenance, recording activities, and quickly addressing any issues.
With a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills, you'll play a key role in optimizing our operations. Your expertise in New Zealand road transport laws and ability to build strong relationships with regulatory authorities will be vital.
Leadership and teamwork are at the heart of this role - you'll guide and support labourers and apprentices while fostering a collaborative work environment. If you're experienced in heavy equipment maintenance, highly organised, and a great communicator, we'd love to hear from you.
What We're Looking For:
- A relevant trade-based qualification and a valid driver's licence
- Proven experience working with heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Great communication, leadership, and a proactive attitude
