About the Role
We're looking for a talented Programme & Partnerships Coordinator (known as a Programmes & Partnerships Facilitator) to join our dynamic team at Hutt City Council. This full-time role is based at Hutt Park, with opportunities to work across the Hutt City and Council. You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative programmes that champion community-led development.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and deliver programs that improve community wellbeing
  • Build strong relationships across Council to ensure successful programme delivery
  • Forge and manage strategic partnerships with local community organisations, businesses, and stakeholders
  • Promote programmes to diverse audiences, working with our Communications team
  • Foster collaboration to ensure seamless stakeholder engagement
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, driving continuous improvements


About You
We're looking for a proactive, results-driven individual with:

  • Experience in managing and coordinating community programmes or events
  • Strong ability to form relationships with local community organisations using excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of community development principles and best practices and a passion for creating positive change in the community
  • Technology saving and proficient in Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc
