One NZ is on an ambitious path to become the most AI-enabled telco on the planet. To achieve this, we are embedding advanced AI technologies throughout our organisation to elevate service delivery and enhance the customer experience. This role offers a unique chance to be part of this journey.
Reporting to the AI Transformation Programme Director within Data and AI function, the Change Manager will spearhead and execute our AI Transformation change program by developing and implementing the change management strategy and ensuring its successful integration, while actively engaging the broader business to embrace this transformation and be a part of this exciting journey.
Note: This is a 12–18-month contract opportunity.
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the AI transformation change program
- Develop and deliver comprehensive communication plans to engage and inform all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in across the business.
- Work closely with the SLG and project leads to ensure cohesive and collaborative delivery of divisional programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional squads, providing change management expertise to support project leads in delivering their respective division programs.
- Conduct impact assessments to understand the effects of the transformation on various business units and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the change initiatives and make data-driven adjustments as needed.

- Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering large-scale change programs within a large corporate environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- leadership capabilities with a track record of influencing and engaging senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a squad-based model, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
