About the Role
The Associate IT Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure. This position provides a great opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow within a supportive team environment. You'll be involved in a variety of tasks, contributing to the overall stability and performance of our systems.
The Role Will Involve
Develop and implement comprehensive documentation, guidelines, and policies to ensure the efficient operation of servers.
Establish and maintain backup and recovery protocols for (value added for SharePoint, OneDrive experience holders) ensuring robust security measures to protect organizational data.
Collaborate with security vendors and service providers to analyze, recommend, and maintain security applications for cloud services and on-premise systems.
Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) in vendor partnerships, particularly for SharePoint and OneDrive for Business services.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to server hardware/software malfunctions, workstations, network infrastructure.
Provide help-desk support and efficiently manage user onboarding/offboarding processes for SharePoint, OneDrive, and other platforms.
Conduct training sessions for users on SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, and OneDrive for Business to maximize platform adoption and effective use.
Regularly update, patch, and configure systems, including managing networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls)
Design, implement, and maintain IT solutions across platforms, including Office 365, Azure, and Endpoint Security, ensuring seamless integration
Enforce data security policies, manage user access, and ensure compliance with organizational regulations across systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve database and SharePoint-related issues while supporting developers and end-users in a collaborative environment.
Manage CI/CD Pipelines,Set up processes for automatic testing and deployment of code.
Test and troubleshoot servers and database systems and upgrades, addressing issues according to quality standards.
Create and update automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
Incorporate system testing into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Conducting routine maintenance tasks like updates, patches, and upgrades.
