Job Description

We're on the hunt for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and dynamic construction team in the Manawatu region. This is a permanent, full-time role with an immediate start available.

You'll be stepping into a key position working alongside Project Managers and internal teams, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. With a solid pipeline of local projects and a collaborative team environment, this is a great opportunity for a QS ready to take ownership and grow.

What We're Looking For:

  • Quantity Surveying experience in New Zealand
  • Strong background working with main contractors
  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Confident communicator and skilled at stakeholder engagement
  • Highly organised and detail-focused


The Role Includes:

  • Preparing and pricing variations, payment claims, and purchase orders
  • Overseeing projects at various stages
  • Managing supplier and subcontractor agreements
  • Liaising with consultants, clients, and contractors
  • Supporting tender preparation and analysis
  • Collaborating with internal teams to drive successful project outcomes


What's On Offer:

  • Salary $90,000+
  • Monday to Friday, 40-hour work week (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

  • Local projects - travel limited to day trips within the Manawatu region
