About the Role
As our business growth story continues, we are seeking an experienced network and infrastructure manager to lead the management of our growing village network. Reporting to the CIO, this role combines hands-on technical leadership with strong customer focus and partner management to ensure reliable, scalable, and innovative infrastructure solutions that enhance the experience of our residents and support our staff across our retirement villages.
Based in our Newmarket Support Office, we support a hybrid working model where you will have the flexibility to balance your work environment.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the proactive monitoring and management of the networks and IT infrastructure, including nurse call systems, across our 36+ villages
Provide technical expertise for new village developments and oversee technology deployments undertaken by external vendors and service providers
Develop and execute village infrastructure strategy and roadmap aligned with resident needs and business objectives
Provide hands-on technical leadership to a small network & infrastructure team
Manage and maintain an optimal mix of internal and partner-delivered services
Ensure high availability and reliability of critical village infrastructure systems that directly impact resident care and experience
Actively contribute to the leadership group to create and maintain a vibrant and high-performing digital team of 30-35 professionals
About You
With proven technical leadership, you will have at least 5-7 years of IT networks and infrastructure management experience. You are:
Experienced in leading the design and management of networks & IT infrastructure requirements across a large multi-site environment
Ideally experienced working with property development teams to implement technology in new building projects
Skilled in vendor management and partner relationship building
Familiar with digital delivery and project management methodologies
Customer-focused with a strong understanding of how technology impacts the daily lives of our residents and staff
A collaborative leader who can balance technical expertise with business needs
Comfortable in a hands-on technical role while also contributing to strategic planning
