Join our team at Victoria University of Wellington as a Sous Chef. This is a Permanent Full Time position rostered during the education term. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality food for customers, residents, or clients, ensuring all tasks are performed in compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations.

Supervise the kitchen when the head chef is absent.
Prepare, cook, and present food, ensuring quality control and consumer satisfaction.
Receive and store kitchen supplies, ensuring proper storage and rotation.
Maintain consumer satisfaction by gathering feedback and striving to exceed expectations.
Develop and update industry knowledge through internal training opportunities.
He kōrero mōu / About you:
NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery or equivalent.
Previous experience cooking in a similar environment.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner.
Team player with good communication skills and a flexible approach.
Physically fit, reliable, and able to pass police clearance.
