We are seeking two CCS Workforce Planners at a senior level, to join our CCS PDD Performance and Reporting team focused on workforce planning, outcome measurement, performance analysis, insight, and reporting.

Ara Whiwhi Mahi | The Opportunity
As a Workforce Planner, you will provide advice and support for business priority workforce scenarios that incorporate multi-year impacts including cost using your experience, technical capabilities and workforce planning subject matter expertise. You will add value across business segments, provide a collective workforce business group view, and presenting workforce planning insights to influence and support decision making.

This will be achieved through your thought leadership, data analysis and derived deeper insights. Key is your willingness to collaborate across IR and the wider system to provide key information, scenarios, and options to resource the front-line needs in response to needs of customers, including customer demand.

In addition, you will:

  • Forecast and analyse workforce supply against demand, assesses gaps, and determine tactics to ensure that IR has the right people with the right skills in the right places at the right time
  • Understand the work of the future, and the capacity and capability required to deliver that work
  • Plan workforce over multiple planning horizons
  • Use workforce planning tools to deliver the right data, insights and information at the right time for leaders
  • Evaluate, as required, workforce planning options, e.g. evaluate flexible workforce options
  • Support and understand workforce decisions required today with the context of the impacts/implications for the future and on our performance.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience to undertake complex data analytics and provide insights to drive decision making at a senior level.
  • Self-motivated and highly focused to achieve better customer outcomes.
  • Strong experience in relationship management and internal communications with the ability to communicate complex scenarios in simple terms.
  • Comfort and experience in engaging with people at all levels of the organisation, together with influencing the right outcomes.
  • Strong workforce planning, co-ordination and scenario modelling skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Design and deployment of data visualisations, communicating insights effectively.
  • Advanced technical user of Office 365 and SharePoint. Experience with SAS(Viya) would be welcome.
