Ko tō tūranga – your role
The Process Improvement lead plays a critical role in ensuring One.NZ has Simple Waste Free Processes that are Visible, Accurate, and as Automated as possible.
You will champion, develop, and deploy effective process management using structured frameworks, improvement methodologies and Process Tools
You will work with a variety of teams and functions across One.NZ to champion the continuous improvement of processes, making it easy for our people to deliver a Remarkably Simple customer experience that gets better every day.
You will ensure that these efficient and standardised processes, result in better experiences for end customers and optimised internal processes that reduce rework and failure.
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Identification, prioritisation, implementation, and benefits realisation of improvement projects, including as a member of a squad.
- Create and continuously improve standardised process assets.
- Analyse cross functional processes, provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- To promote a continuous improvement culture both within One.NZ through training and coaching of others
- Be autonomous in work
Lead and manage implementation for complex projects including:
- Project planning
- Stakeholder workshops organisation and facilitation
- Business Requirement’s definition
- Cost/Benefit analysis
- Approvals, Change & Stakeholder management

- Strong communicator, with an ability to present complex business problems in a logical way, to all levels of stakeholders.
- Proficient use of process frameworks, methods, and tools
- Strong understanding and use of Continuous Improvement techniques to deliver measurable benefits.
- Experience in Agile ways of working.
- Strong change and stakeholder management
- Strong planning, organising and project management skills.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, seek clarity and take action based on what is known.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or similar
- TM Forum Framework Practitioner or similar process management framework qualification (advantageous)
