About the role:

In this newly created remote Territory Manager position you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high quality service to existing customers, whilst creating and pursuing new business opportunities to further enhance sales performance. Operating across the Mid to Lower North Island region, you will offer the full suite of packaging solutions across all sectors, whilst establishing yourself as a trusted product expert within the Building and Construction sectors.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow key accounts by developing strong, multi-level relationships
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline of new customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Analyse sales data and performance metrics to inform sales strategies
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals and pricing solutions to customers
  • Maintain accurate reporting to monitor performance and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times


About You:

You will have strong account management skills, with experience in sales and business development, ideally within the packaging or related sectors (Building, Manufacturing, Print, Freight and Logistics). You will also need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Highly driven sales professional with strong commercial acumen
  • Collaborative mindset recognising the value in contributing to shared goals
  • Excellent time management skills and confidence to work autonomously
  • Highly effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyse performance data and market trends to inform sales strategies
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products


You will also need:

  • To be a NZ Citizen, Permanent resident or have the appropriate Visa to work in NZ
  • To have a full clean NZ Drivers licence
