About the role:

We are looking for a Casual Catering Assistants to work at Tauranga Hospital. Hours will be as and when required, dependent on business needs.

For this role, we are looking for mature, responsible, reliable, fast and honest catering assistants. We expect our staff to follow high standards of food safety and hygiene while taking pride in presentation and details.

What would you be expected to do:

In this position you will be responsible for:

• basic food preparation
• help with stock control
• assist in general kitchen jobs
• cleaning duties
• Ideal skills and experience

If you're our ideal candidate you:

• will be hard working with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude
• will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen
• hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167)
• will have superior customer service skills but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality
