RealNZ is looking for a Team Leader to support the smooth operation of our Te Anau & Manapouri Visitor Centres. As the key support for the Visitor Centre Coordinator, you will lead the team in their absence, always ensuring exceptional guest service. You'll be the go-to person for both the team and other business functions when needed, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and shift coordination. Your role will involve managing reservations, passenger allocations, and special requests while responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person to promote RealNZ experiences. Engaging with customers to create memorable experiences, you'll also drive sales by confidently selling RealNZ products and services.
What are we looking for?
- Customer service, retail, or reservations experience with proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Friendly, approachable, and confident communication skills.
- Computer proficiency (MS Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Sales-driven mindset with a passion for tourism.
