ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client establishes themselves as the premier supplier of IT infrastructure consulting, procurement, implementation, and support services.
They operate across Key and Corporate Business segments in the local region.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Manager provides based in Tauranga or Hamilton both Business Analysis and Project Management services to support clients’ ICT infrastructure and Corporate/Business Application IS projects. This role involves scoping, planning, and implementing technology solutions in a cost-effective manner by defining requirements, managing business cases, test plans, and process changes, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders. Additionally, the Project Manager oversees project execution, maintains the WorkPlan resource management system, monitors progress, and delivers Project Status Reports (PSRs). Acting as a key escalation point, this role ensures projects are structured, well-managed, and aligned with client needs.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 10 years’ experience as a Business Analysis and/or Project Management roles, with involvement in relevant IS or ICT projects.
  • Strong understanding of core industry technologies, including end-to-end technology stacks (Workspace, Application, IS Layer, Infrastructure, Network, Perimeter Services, and Physical Layer).
  • Experience in Microsoft technologies (AD, DHCP, DNS, RDS, Citrix), application delivery, data protection & backup, and server infrastructure management in complex environments.
  • Sound knowledge of connectivity between desktop, server, and network hardware in distributed environments.
  • Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to articulate thought processes clearly.
  • Strong understanding of business objectives, systems, and processes, ensuring alignment between technology and business goals.
