Associate Director Corporate Advisory – Institutional Bank
Fixed term 12 month maternity cover contract

Mō te tūranga | About the role
Reporting to the Executive Director Corporate Advisory you will lead and deliver financial and strategic advice to our clients, developing tailored funding solutions for our Institutional, Corporate and Agribusiness customers. You will lead the preparation of analysis and presentations to our clients combined with research on corporate finance and other topical issues. Delivering high quality insights to our clients in conjunction with the Relationship teams, you will maintain strong relationships with market advisors and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Working closely with the Relationship Managers, product teams, financial markets and other parts of the bank; you will participate in account planning and marketing in conjunction with Relationship teams. You will need to be a self-motivated team player, possessing strong initiative, drive and customer service values to meet our customers’ needs.

- Strong knowledge of corporate finance and 5 plus years’ experience within the banking and finance industry
- Exceptional analytical skills to develop financial models ideally using Capital IQ and Bloomberg
- High customer service values and professional approach
- Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with an inquiring mind and an enthusiastic team player
- Customer focused problem solver
