Senior Business Analyst - 6 Month Contract
Your role, your journey | Te Huarahi Whakatipu
As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of gathering high-level and detailed requirements, including Epics, Features, and User Stories. You'll drive the prioritisation of these requirements, ensuring they are traceable and dependencies are tracked. Your role will involve defining features and acceptance criteria, making sure they are signed off, and estimating work sizing at both feature and story levels. You'll own the operational documentation for initiatives, assist testers and developers, and support Agile team and project ceremonies, ensuring smooth and efficient project delivery.
Your Experience:
You'll bring proven experience in IT, Telco, Utility, FMCG, or similar service-based, high-volume monthly revenue businesses. Your expertise in Agile methodology and proficiency with Azure DevOps and associated tools will be crucial. You'll excel in large-scale requirements elicitation from both internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating adaptability to change and the ability to resolve conflicts and clarify opaque requirements. Working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple workstreams will be second nature to you, along with your skills in process mapping and continuous improvement. Alongside the above, you'll couple this with;
- Efficiency in dealing with time-constrained stakeholders.
- Active Self-Starter - keeps the big picture in mind while working at a detailed level.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Conflict Resolution abilities - capable of arbitrating conflicting requirements and supporting prioritisation for delivery.
