Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join a multi-level government organization based in Auckland’s CBD. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate across one of Auckland’s largest organizations, playing a key part in impactful, large-scale projects.

About the role:

  • ASAP Start – 6 months
  • $60 per hour + 8% holiday pay
  • Auckland CBD Location


Day to day responsibilities:

  • Establish and use existing tools and templates to provide clear documentation of the programme and its projects.
  • Update the programme/project plans and schedules, as required by the programme controller/director.
  • Working collaboratively with the programme director and team.
  • Organising and administrating key governance forums and groups, including issuing agendas, reports, meeting set up and room bookings.
  • Coordinating and preparing materials for board and committee meetings, as well as minutes and actions.
  • Act as the key point of contact for sharing information across programme team members, partners and other stakeholders.
  • Work with relevant finance partners to set-up and process PO’s where required for payment of programme invoices.
  • Support programme controllers/director to update and capture programme risks, issues and areas of concern at the relevant governance forums.


About You:

  • 5+ years in a programme coordinator role.
  • SAP Experience
  • Detail oriented, dependable with a get things done attitude.Must be adept at multi-tasking as required to perform a wide variety of tasks on a daily basis.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills, with ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organised. Plans and prioritise well and manages time to focus on the most important activities.
  • Personal resilience. Able to sustain a high level of energy and positivity during times when they, the team or the organisation are under extreme pressure.
