About the Company
Established in 1971, this company is one of New Zealand’s largest independent property services providers, managing over 4,000 residential and commercial properties and servicing 25,000+ unit title properties.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and private equity shareholders, you will play a key role in financial management, strategic decision-making, and corporate growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Mergers & Acquisitions – Identify and assess acquisition targets, lead due diligence, financial modelling, business case development, and integration.
- Strategic Projects – Support strategic planning and execution while monitoring industry trends for growth opportunities.
- Financial Modelling & Analysis – Develop models for budgeting, forecasting, and business expansion. Analyse financial data to drive commercial performance.
- Capital Structure & Liquidity Management – Monitor cash flow and work alongside the CFO to manage banking relationships.
About You
- Experience in M&A, corporate development, strategy, or commercial finance.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of, and/or, interest in property as an industry.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
